Sanyo PLC-XW60 - Industry's Smallest and Lightest XGA LCD Projector

This projector has an XGA LCD inside, a new, smaller bulb and a nice light and compact size. Its 10.4x2.17x7.4 inches in size and weighs a mere 3.6 pounds, meaning your laptop likely outweighs this projector.

It has automatic keystone correction, automatic input signal detection, adjustable color mode, and an easy off function. The last two features are especially interesting as the adjustable color mode allows you to change the projector's display colors so it can properly show a picture on any color surfaces and the easy off function allows you to just pull the plug and go with no need to wait for a cool off period.

They've reduced the bulb size by 39% and reduced the weight of the lens by 44%, both of which help with the new smaller, lighter form factor. With this projector you can throw up to a 100-inch picture on the wall from 9-11 feet away at a resolution of 1024x768. It outputs 2000 lumens which means as long as a room isn't extremely bright the image should show up clearly without having to darken the room, there is also a 1 watt mono speaker built in for when you are making presentations on the go and need some sound without having to pack separate speakers. You'll be able to pick up this projector in April for about $795.
