Currently, with how iOS utilizes system resources, it just runs smoother especially in the gaming department.  Let’s just say iOS runs very efficiently.  Android (both Gingerbread and Honeycomb) tend to have issues with apps lurking/running in the background sapping system resources.  Unless you’re somewhat tech savvy, it requires you to run some sort of ‘other’ app to kill what’s lurking in the background.  Which tends to lag/bogging when running some apps, especially graphics heavy games.

Another thing to throw in about Android.  The way it’s fragmented right now with various versions of Android (sometimes the same version with OEM skin), some apps could not work correctly on one Android device but work on another.  Sometimes it can get frustrating having to research what the root cause my be on why somethings crash.  

Right now, the biggest draw back with Android devices are the OS itself, not so much the hardware.  Once they can get everything running smoothly with one sole OS conquering all OEM devices like Apple does.  The iPad may very well be your best choice depending on your level of tech aptitude.  Apple just makes it simple, which is their strongest trait compared to other companies.  I will give them that.

By iOS feeling more boring than Honeycomb, yeah, I’ll agree.

I am sure tablet buyers are flocking to stores in droves because the Tab 10.1 has 1 GB or ram.

In reality, iOS just feels more fluid than Honeycomb.

Ios does multitasking better than any OS I’ve seen… Examples.. eBay app for androis.. no multitasking.. (resets each time) Craigslist notification app, no multitasking… While on ios you can browse the web while mixing music in a dj app with a third app providing a drum beat.. and switch between them and your mail app.. it has.memory and battery management like nothing else.. It’s so.annoying to go.to.bed with a near full charge on my.EVO and wake up to half gone.. for what? Sitting idle?

The iPad has a proper posture in 4:3 format.. the tab is a glorified portable hdtv.. tge center of.gravity is all wrong. The iPad could weigh an extra pound and still result in less fatigue.

People don’t at all get them same from android tablets.. sure, it’ll surf the web.. so.does the laptop you already own.. that’s not enough to sell a tablet..

Does apple advertise on Nick? No? Not really. Then why.do.the kiddies want ipads so bad? Answer: they’re fun.. instantly..

I chose Android because I reject iTunes and the attitude behind it. But be realistic; we all know that Honeycomb needs serious work to compete with iPad let alone beat it. Frankly Google knows that, which is why they working hard to fix it; give them time.
