Samsung's Galaxy S II Will Have MHL Port for USB and HDMI-out

Good news, Samsung fans. The Galaxy S II will not lack for HDMI. While the new flagship Android smartphone has no HDMI-out, it will be the first smartphone with an MHL port. This port is capable of acting as both a USB port, and HDMI-out. Users will only need a special microUSB-to-HDMI cable in order to connect their phone to their TV or monitor or whatever.

The phone will not charge from the MHL port when it is plugged into a normal HDMI-slot, but MHL televisions (when they hit) will be able to charge the device as they pull media from it. You'll also be able to connect and charge via USB as normal.
