Hope Samsung won’t ruin everything duo to it’s reputation since bada OS is really nice and promising mobile OS. Let’s see!

You’re right, Leonard. I’d never even heard of Bada until a few days ago, so I was surprised it was so widespread, and in fact the most successful in terms of achieving such rapid growth. All, this, despite zero media coverage. I think one of the reasons Apple and OS are so successful is because of the constant media blitz. Even people who known absolutely nothing about gadgets ‘want’ an iPhone, and they don’t even think about anything else.

The way the media covers consumers electronics (with the exception of Slashgear of course) makes a potentially dynamic market sector so…boring. There’s soooo much out there, from lesser-known companies like Viewsonic and Asus that make such high-quality, creative devices. Like…Creative Labs, which invented the music interface on iPod, and makes its own MP3 players with superior sound quality (after all, they started out making PC audio systems). Many no-name companies go under because the media is too lazy to cover real innovation, and that’s bad for consumers…who just go on to buy the same things as everyone else.

Wouldn’t be too bad. After switching from iPhone to my Evo Android phone, I’m really starting to loath that mess of an OS called Android. God I want my iPhone back…anything to replace that POS Android system would be fine by me, go bada

Bada is vastly outselling Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7. This situation is going to continue, as new Bada handsets enter the market.

In aviation, no US airline will buy the giant Airbus A380 plane, because it was designed and made somewhere else.

In mobile, no US carrier will touch Bada, because it was made somewhere else. In fact, the US media doesn’t cover Bada stories (with the exception of SlashGear – thanks SlashGear). However, the rest of the world loves Bada, as the sales prove.

Looking at the sales trajectory, Bada will rise above 3% of the market in the next quarter.
