Samsuing has increased the storage capacity of the YP-T8Q flash-based digital music players to 2GB. The YP-T8Q has a 1.8 inch LCD display for photos and MPEG 4 videos. There are 5 built-in games, where some of them are controlled by shaking the player around the hand. Sounds too much like a Tamagotchi. And the designs of the Samsung resembles a cellphone.

The YP-T8Q’s battery lasts for 20 hours’ of music playback, though Samsung didn’t say how long it lasts in video or slideshow modes. It has an FM tuner as well and it could operate USB host, to hold photos directly from cameras. The player support MP3, WMA, WMA DRM, WAV and Ogg music formats, and can record voice memos.
