Samsung Updates BD-P1200 Blu-ray Player Firmware to Ver 2.1

If you have one of the Samsung BD-P1200 Blu-Ray player that keeps locking up during playback, you may want to check out the new firmware. Samsung has released FW 2.1 yesterday that said to resolve playback issues with the following movies and among others

Mr. and Mrs. Smith

Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End

Pixar Short Films Collection: Volume 1

The firmware is available via downloadable CD image or using the player direct download with built-in internet feature. I’m glad I went with PS3, I only have one issue with Showtime HD’s ‘Weed’ so far, it threw some sort of java error code on the screen but a quick reboot solved the problem.
