Most of us won't be on hand for the live Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event. Each year there are plenty of live streams that allow you to keep up with what Samsung is showing off if you are interested. This year marks the first time that Samsung will offer a 360 live stream of its Unpacked event. Not only will Samsung be offering a 360 view via its live stream, watchers will get to choose where they view from.

Samsung plans to offer four options for viewing angles with auditorium, stage left, stage right, or center stage. Samsung really wants fans to be watching the 360 live streams via a Gear VR headset. To watch the Galaxy Unpacked event, fans need to go to the page for the event on the Samsung website on February 21.

The next step is choosing a viewing position for the event for PC users. If you are watching a 360 stream on a mobile device, you need to download the Unpacked 360 View app and install it. When the event starts, launch the app and select your viewing angle.

Gear VR users will get the best view this side of attending. To use the Gear VR you need to get the Unpacked 360 View app for your smartphone and launch the app using the Gear VR headset. When the event stream starts, choose a viewing angle and enjoy. The Galaxy Unpacked event live stream starts February 21 at 7pm CET. This is the event where the Galaxy S7 family of devices are expected to debut. Samsung likely has other surprises up its sleeves as well.
