Internationally Samsung was the first phone to get ICS, first on the Nexus, then on the Galaxy S2.

The only other phone to update to ICS is one HTC phone in the US.

So what if there are delays? Samsung is the only brand trying and succeeding to get ICS updated on their phones. So what exactly is your problem? You should have a problem with all the other brands not named Samsung.

You're an idiot. You have a Nexus phone so of course you're going to receive your updates.

For non Nexus phones, every other phone manufacturer has this problem, not just Samsung. Nice try at trolling.

I understand their reasons for doing this. The first firmware update I applied to my S2 did break the phone (I am on the Orange Network). However, with better management and planning all this could have easily have been avoided. Speaking to iPhone owners that I know, they do not experience the same sporadic release process. Firmware updates are released to all at the same time. If I was asked a month ago what my next phone is going to be I would have said without a doubt: Samsung Galaxy S3. Today I am not so sure.. it could be an iPhone. Has this bungled ICS update cost Samsung business? I would say yes, it has damaged customer confidance in them supporting Android phones. How much business? Well, only time will tell.
