hey buddy, i have read many a place that talk the same bout the lg 9600 & 8600.
no so much bout 8600 but YES ppl do complain & really unless u have a perfect TV are u gonna complain?

i sorta agree, i did want a LM8600 but impossible to get where i am & i do NOT wanna wait 4-6 weeks for delivery.
I went with a sammy es8000 which is along the same lines but a 300$ more i had to pay :(
that passive 3d is amazing on LG, i really hope this sammy active is as good since i wasn’t happy with the plasma c8000 sammay i punched out.

Thanks for such a nice review but, to be honest don’t you think those prices are quite unjustified? I would rather like to go for LGs 55-inch LM8600 smart passive TV instead, which also carries 6 pairs of passive 3d glasses with no extra charges.

Hands down this is such a beauty but I still don’t understand why you want to change channels by using the voice recognition feature when you can do it by clicking the button which takes much less time.

Not only does Slashgear forget to post calman specs, they forget to mention the enormous amount of flashlighting, bleeding, and screen uniformity problems this TV has. It is even that great after calibration and even more disastrous in the out-of-the-box settings.

looks like the voice control needs serious work.. who can keep saying “command TV”, and walk through the menus?? I know my parents definitely can’t use something this difficult
