Divx on a phone, apparently it’s not the first time either, but just the most recent. The SGH-F508 is part of Samsung’s Ultra Edition series.

Offering up a swiveling screen which allows for the proper positioning of the phone for watching movies, it also has two sides, much like the Upstage from Sprint, one side is the phone, the other the media player. The phone offers up several other cutting-edge multimedia experiences including the ability to play high quality Divx videos.

The phone, judging solely from the pictures, has a 2MP camera built in and is apparently only going to be available in the Chinese-speaking area of the world. The Divx content can be accessed from one of three places, their personal collections, the Divx Stage6 library, or via alternate content-providing services.
Available in the Chinese language market in `07 for an, as yet, undisclosed amount, although I doubt it will be cheap.
