Here is the timeline stratety:
First gen Galaxy – early peaks lead to a singuLar Android brand assualt with all US carriers

Gen 2- Mobile World Congress gets Galaxy customers wet over the new “Thin” form factor.

Now, with Gen 3 and positioning as the bonafide iPhone dakrhorse, Samsung pulls out of MWC, leakds rumors of “press events” and potentiallly false or true images, and hides the design to keep the anticipation building.  Starting to see an Apple pattern here?

Good for you, Samsung! you have pulled off the biggest Apple infringementof all – you might get people to line up for your device this time!
HTC finally caught on and are now rallying behind the “One”. They are at the early peak, in the MWC tradeshow, anticipation build up stage. Next year will build on that followed by TOP SECRECY in gen 3……

Wonder if Motorola will catch on with the Razr…nah. THEY are Vrizon’s bitch so they will continue to lose money and cripple their brand till they start putting their handsets on gsm networks

I’ve never owned a Sense phone, but I see good things. Probably a little bulky, but sensible things like louder ringing when in pockets or flip to silence are nice without having to have separate apps for them.

if a phone maker slaps a quadcore to do what a dualcore can do on other phones, does that make the quadcore phone good?

phone makers are riding on the specs bandwagon to sell their products.

i would have bought the nexus just because google seems ok, but since the hw is from sammy…
