We all know Samsung watches what apple does and follows suit... launching very similar products to keep up with Apple. Samusng S-iphone 4, Samsung Ace -iphone 3GS, Samsung 9 -MBA etc

There is a fine line between what is copying and what is competing for sure and Samsung walks it too dangerously for my liking... is it really necessary Samsung? Other manufacturers are capable of producing similar products without looking that much like Apple ones. You bring it on yourself. I'd like to see more of the samsung tab 7" kind of innovation from Samsung rather than products like the Samsung Ace which look like a 3gs.

That logic isn't sounds as competitiors can follow a good thing in a market and at the same time not be copiers. If they didn't then they would be out of business quickly by letting their competitor have a monopoly in the market. Copying involves actually making something pretty much the same. EG the samsung tab 10.1 is not a copy of the ipad due to different screen resolution, additional features, different colours, different dimensions and weight etc. However I would certainly say the phones are a bit too much like the iphone not to be considered copies.

Samsung has many different kinds of phone eg the newish samsung galaxy pro is similar to the blackjack... they haven't changed just expanded their range.

Samsung tab 7 was the first 7" slate ... therefore Samsung is a leader in that market.
Samsung galaxy pro was the first gsm android qwerty ... leader
etc etc

Just look at the Samsung Black Jack to see what kind of phone Samsung was making prior to the iPhone.

If I were Apple I'd start with showing the ITC just that.

And this alone shows Samsung is a copier, not a leader.

Nice try understanding the term. Its time to put the keyboard down now and leave the logic up to the grown ups now though.

Good job. Unlike half dozen tech websites, you guys didn't go out of your way to photoshop one of the galaxy line ups to make it seem they're the exact same size with app drawer open to make it seem even more simliar to iphones
