Just got the TV including the so-called smart control. It works like crap. Half the time there’s no response!!! really dissatisfied

The Samsung touch control is cute but at the same time it looks scary and flashy since it doesn’t give enough information to motivate consumers unlike that of LG motion control which portray the quality or condition of being easy to understand.

Sony is upgrading its Smart TV with new social networking but yet customers are getting
more excited with LG Smart TV and little bit of Samsung Smart TV.

The technology is good but Samsung failed to make it looks customer friendly. I know it’s not easy to do but I see LG magic motion control more convenient to handle.

OK THIS REMOTE COMES WITH THE ES8000 SERIES(LED) AND YOU GET AN IR BLASTER ALL IN THE BOX, BUT THE E8000 SERIES (PLASMA) YOU GET THE REMOTE BUT NO IR BLASTER , SO DO YOU NEED TO BUY YOUR OWN IR BLASTER OR WILL IT NOT WORK WITH THE E8000 PLASMA ?

I have a lg’s magic motion remote and samsung’s new remote doesn’t sound more easier to use than mine. You can think of the magic remote as a mouse. It basically looks and works like Wiimote. I think voice recognition will be really helpful when web browsing tho..

The Samsung Smart Touch control looks good no doubt but I don’t think it is as simple as the LG Magic motion control in terms of manipulation and simplicity.

i don’t think it would work with the previous models.
Adding the touchpad on the remote is quite revolutionary. TV remotes are getting smart to keep up with smart tvs. but i don’t get to expect much more from a touchpad that can operate only to the up/down/right and left than my remote with the arrow buttons.
