Wonder why the maniacs at Samsung decided to go with this design over sticking with the design of the Samsung Series 9. I mean, why not just make a 15 inch version of the Series 9?!

It looks like an Apple laptop. I think Samsung is great, and I think their designers have done a brilliant job with the distinctive designs of other notebooks in their ranges, but I don't think they're doing themselves any favors with the stylings of this range, if they want to avoid Apple-copy comparisons being made.

As for how many times I mentioned those similarities, the nature of a hands-on piece is that it's largely subjective. Our original news article about the Series 7 Chronos' announcement was solely about the laptops themselves; a hands-on tends to be more about what individuals think. I agree that the specs and pricing are good and that the screen is great, but I think some of those good points will inevitably be overshadowed when consumers talk about the similarities in styling.

how many times did you have to mention apple in an article about samsung product? it's getting tedious and annoying and please stop it.

it's a great looking laptop, with a great specs, and a price i can hardly believe. and finally, with a screen size for normally sized people. Probably my next buy.

I don't think people will need to explain that its not Apple. Actually, if you have a MBP right by it to compare, they really don't look that similar at all. The only thing (really) that is Apple-like, is the unibody metal body. Other than that, it really isn't like the MBP. Color is completely different, shape is completely different.
