I suppose it goes with the Apple philosophy of assuming consumers don't actually know what they want and have to be told what is cool and hip and useful. Comparing the app drawer of an Android device and the home screen of an Apple device and saying they are same, while ignoring the branding and size difference is pretty lame.

Samsung has demonstrated a very good turn around time for getting the revamped product to market. Kudos.

The fact is apple cant compete with samsung, htc, motorola at this time one phone vs twenty odds are against them. Iphone 4s is not a new phone, siri is a software update dual core and camera is still not as fast was others that came out months ago
Apple are living off steve jobs previous great works, talk is iphone 5 is jobs last creation so expect thing to go downhill for apple.
With out samsung and htc even windows and blacberry pushing innovation do u actually think we would have a 4s and ios5 with all the add on copied by apple and vise versa no couse we wont, I am thankfull of android because google know people like customisation to suit individule needs no two people are alike so why cant phones be the same.

i had an iphone 4 but itunes and constant updateing annoyed me now i have a samsung gs2 cant see me going back to apple now or the near future.

I hope this works. I don't believe in copy-cat behaviour but I also don't like corporate bullying to remove competition. Apple have a good products so why can't they just let the product speak for itself? Do they really think that consumers are going to somehow get confused as to which product they want just because the aesthetics are similar? Or buy one instead of the other by mistake because they look similar? If that's the case then they aren't giving the modern tech savvy consumer enough credit.
