Samsung SE-S084F DVD burner for laptops and netbooks launches

Samsung has unveiled a new external portable DVD burner that is aimed at notebook and netbook users. Many of the small and portable machines on the market lack a DVD drive of any kind and users often need an external, but they want one that is small and portable.

The new Samsung SE-S084F has been unveiled by Samsung and it is available for purchase right now with a MSRP of $59.99. The drive is selling for as little as $49.99 online right now. The small drive gets all the power and connectivity it needs from a USB port.

It uses WriteMaster tech to enable high-speed writing to optical media and multitasking. Other features include Buffer Under Run tech and it works with PC or Mac computers. The drive can burn to multiple CD and DVD formats.
