I like the fact that it has a bigger screen. It looks big enough so I dont have to worry about dropping it when arthritis seizes me in the winter. As to clothes, I usually am in cargo jeans, NO PROBLEM! Hello! emails, facebook, bigger screen for skype calling, great to take to the gym and watch that video on and read books!!  I tell you now, dont bring it to verizon in the States, then FAIL on you!

For those of us who like devices like this, our ONLY choice for unlocked phone carriers will be AT&T, and 850/1900 isn’t used anywhere else other than Canada.

I live and work overseas (TG). I would not move back to the US and their restrictive phone service and 2 week vacation plans for any thing. The rest of the world laughs at the mobile phone system in the US. There is no Freedom in it. Overseas we can have any phone we want, we don’t have to buy it from a phone company.
I will never buy a phone in the US for the rest of my life.

The Galaxy note is A PHONE. The only reasons the carriers wouldn’t be interested is if is just too expensive for them to sell.

On the 7″ tablet side, I bet it has more to do with Carriers getting stuck with inventory on tablets that most people actually don’t want to get locked into long term data plans with. So burned with excess Galaxy Tab inventory the first time around, they are likely much LESS interested in playing this game again.
