You’re probably got tired of recent Samsung SyncMaster releases. The company has expanded its range of SyncMaster family with the announcement of 6 LCD units in a short one week, majority of them are at 16:9 aspect ratio. But the train doesn’t there, the company has introduced yet another SyncMaster with 22-inch screen size at WUXGA (1920×1200) resolution; while not longer at 16:9 aspect ratio, but processed similar low end panel with 170/160 viewing angles.

Better than the rest of recent releases, the T220P boasts an ultra high dynamic contrast of 50k:1, 300 nits of brightness and a response time of 5ms. Specification wise looks great for movie flicks or gaming but the narrow viewing angles are less than ideal for critical graphic or photo editing. Both analog and digital inputs are standard; the DVi-D input is HDCP compliant, thus it is compatible with HD sources from your beloved Blu-Ray/DVR/Set-top Boxes.

The monitor will be available for sale later this month at the price tag of 35,000 yen ($365)
