apple is going down fast and trying to take Samsung with them. i think apple could be doing allot better lowering prices than running up lawer bills. American greedy. sad to say but Samsung pride in their product and with nexus completely wide open for any developer to play with shoes they are not scared of the competition. apple price gouging days have ended and they are crying Wolf. plus they out source factory work to a ugly extent. android has pushed to great limits thanks to samsung. you cannot patent four wheels on a car. tv flat screen or phone shape. come on this isnt a corvette look alike. its a pocket phone.

What a joke these lawsuits are. Less than half a billion is nothing to either of these two, hell, i’ve read somewhere that Apple has already spent 700 million bringing this silly fight to courts everywhere. Even Apple wanting 2.5 billion has now been marked down to a fraction of that due to several of the devices named in their suit found not to be eligable for this case. When you add up all the cases fought all over the world, i wouldn’t be surprised to see lawyers/court cost to total more than either of these two will see in “damages”.

I wanted to post something to the effect that .5 billion isnt pennies to even the US government, but .5 billion equates to about 7 days of profits for Apple. They made 8 billion in profits Q3 2012, which was slow for them – its about 88 million a day
