Samsung R430 notebook hits Buy.com

Late last month Samsung pulled the wraps off a few new notebooks. One of the new machines that the electronics giant unveiled was the R430. The machine is a 14-inch notebook with decent performance at a nice price point.

The notebook is now available for purchase on Buy.com for $649.95. For that much loot you get a 14-inch LCD, Intel Core 2 Duo T6600 CPU running at 2.2GHz, and Intel GMA 4500MHD graphics. Other features include 4GB of RAM and a 320GD HDD.

The notebook also has a built-in DVD burner and a 6-cell battery. The LCD is LED backlit and has a HD resolution of 1366 x 768. Other features include WiFi, Ethernet, three USB ports, HDMI, VGA, and a memory card reader. The machine runs Windows 7 Home Premium and weighs 4.98 pounds.
