Yeah, a 720p regular SAMOLED is a deal breaker to me. They downgraded their screen technology when they upgraded their flagship phone. Don’t really understand why they did that.

I never saw pixels much on the original ipod touches. I do see the screen door effect and such on the samsung stratosphere. It really sucks. The Nexus and S3 have significantly higher resolutions without proportionally larger screens, but all the same it may still be pretty poor quality.

Grab a Galaxy S and another 4″ LCD screen at the same resolution. The SAMOLED looks much brighter, but at 2 feet away you can see individual pixels, which makes the resolution look like the original iPhone. I’ll take a screen with better technology over overly saturated, pixelated any day.

People really make the pentile to be a bigger deal than it is. But im also disappointed because the rumors hyped the phone up too much.
