They are nowhere ahead.

Tegra2 and OMAP4 based products are already on the market and the Sammy processor is not even announced for any products.

They are likely at least half a year behind Nvidia and TI.

Looks like Samsung is ahead of ARMs race. I’d be interested in seeing how this compares to the lower end notebook processors.

That is awesome!

Although I’m a bit disappointed that it’s clocked at 1GHz and not more but still, considering A9 is 20% faster as the same clock as the A8 AND there are two cores… it should be much, much faster.

And that Mali GPU also looks incredibly powerful.

All it needs is Android that takes advantage of all that power, UI hardware acceleration and all that, should be butter smooth.

Hopefully Samsung makes Galaxy S2, with this inside, 1GB RAM, 32-64GB storage, etc…
