I actually think this is the phone that might seriously get on-the-fence iPhone users to switch (because we're tired of the daggone tiny screen). I think it's a given that it will be a non-pentile 720p display. It will be at least 4.65" but likely not much bigger if at all. I expect the rumors of a more premium case (but still very lightweight) to be true. And I think they may surprise us with a higher-than-8MP camera. I think the blowback from the crap 5MP camera (please, no "megapixels aren't everything" comments. I know) on the Nexus made clear that camera quality is arguably THEE most important thing. I think the design will be not terribly dissimilar to the Nexus, but with different coloring and better build quality and materials. And battery life will be good. Samsung has been building up to really take on the iPhone and this is likely the first real threat to Apple's assumed superiority. Having said that, if Apple comes out with a 4" iPhone 5 with better ergonomics (ie-not a slippery piece of glass and accident waiting to happen), and some geeky specs, and a revamped OS to break away from the tired all-tile interface, then all bets are off. Now that Steve Jobs has passed (God rest his soul), the folks at Apple may feel a little more free to go indirections Jobs wouldn't permit (3.5" is big enough for example).

At this point only two devices are on my target list...SGS3 and hopefully a Vanila HTC One X with Tmo bands. The SGS3 with an edge over the One X cuz it will have an SD card slot and maybe a bigger removable battery. After owning the GNex for a few month and i must stress a very good device but with some flaws...i am ready for something else. So i am very eager to see what Samsung has in-store for us all...i am hoping they go for a simultaneous world wide launch Tmo USA included in that first wave.
