It’s time for all the other phone makers to gang up and sue the crap out of Apple. Sue Apple in all markets for all possible patent infringements. The bully tactic of Apple and MS are distasteful in the extreme.

There’s no legal action pending at the moment, but you can bet your house that Apple is combing through everything it can in an effort to find something, anything that it can use to block the S3. And if they can’t find anything, they’ll make something up and US courts and Customs will always take the side of a US company in an import case.

They should allow any and all ‘copying’. Let the consumer decide which phone is better and who copied who….. If that even matters. And yes, the car analogy is very poignant. Imagine If the round steering wheel or abs braking system or airbags, or sunroof, or any one of a thousand innovative automobile designs had been hogged by one car company.

you guys should really go and search to get your info correct about what is inovation and what apple is doing.
here are few examples…..
you cannot unlock your phone by swyping……. nice innovation for touch screens
you cannot have juming effect in browser when you reach end…… nice innovation
you have a home button on your phone so now nobody can have that….. nice innovation
now this dialer thing no idea about this, but im sure i need the dialer on my phone :P

this system should come to end as like we have in cars…..
no body sues because they have 4 doors or 2 doors or they can start by pressing a button or keyless entry and has power windows or four wheel drive………..

still cant get it, i dont care you need brains, perhaps in few years you get one.

Please explain to me how “hyperlinks” in the messenger and dailer is consider innovative enough to be patent by apple in this day and age? It isn’t… the broken patent office allowed this crap to happen and Apple is just taking advantage of it while HTC is paying the price for it.

As for copycats everyone copies each other even Apple and if you say no then that just makes a denial fanboy and you loose all credibility of your words.

The stock price drop is a knee-jerk reaction to the HTC situation, even though HTC has had few to no legal disputes with Apple in the past. Because Samsung is at this point notorious for having battles with Apple on the regular, and they have had products banned in other countries – because of this, stockholders are likely to act even quicker to drop Samsung if they fear another dispute with Apple here in the USA.

what’s the point of this article? There is no legal case pending against Galaxy S III as you state in your article. If there is no legal action, there can be no legal injunction. So what’s your point?
