What he means to say is that, most phones that go euro only are limited released, limited specs, but occasionally holds a niche in the market due to a singular somewhat impressive feature. What if I told you in the US they do the same. But unlike Europe, Americans don’t hold much of a “conference” for such things.

Really? Same as Ra, I think the specs are okay except for display, and would like to know how it will appear.
As I have read some tips about the Samsung galaxy s from aneesoft, and think maybe it’s worth to wait for s III.

The specs are okay except for display.
If it isn’t Plus, as in HD Super AMOLED Plus, I am not interested.

Samsung makes a lot of sexy looking devices, that if it actually delivered on what it promised, would be good. Almost every Samsung Android I’ve tested has problems holding on to a GPS signal. And once you move passed the sexy form, the UI is decidedly lame. Its as if Samsung was trying to say “I’m like Apple too”. I’ll let others test drive this or any other Samsung unit, before I buy it based on looks or specs. Function should be equally (if not more) important than form

There was nothing wrong with what he wrote. All he meant was that, hopefully, it is Samsung’s global flagship phone model that everybody is waiting for, and not just a locally targeted phone for Europe only. You can change “European phone” to “US phone” if the event was in the US and it still means the same thing.

Some people are really oversensitive.

How about if I tell you that 350 million people live in the us, and we also use GSM. Although I would like to switch to GMS, hows the reception?
