Once the galaxy tab and the next generations of tablets launch with Icecream sandwich complimented by their phone counterparts……Lets just say its all down hill from there. 

Considering you already only have 80% of a market share you are the only player in….. you should be scared. 

Maybe I’m getting old, but I like the way they just work. They work wonderfully, they look good, they use the same adapters and interface, you can buy tons of apps and aftermarket accessories.

Maybe some of the others are better…I am happy with my Apple products…they just work.

popularity means nothing in the tech world. dont ever use that as an argument.  its only valid in app support. but android has plenty of that.

Also the reason the OS is on so many devices is because it can target so many more consumer demographics.  Want to buy a budget phone on contract? You can with an Android OS because there are so many out there to choose from.

I own both an iPad2 and a GalaxyTAB. Android is only new in tablets and their OS is already so much more flexible and usable.

Once the public catches up and realizes how good honeycomb is, android will dominate the tablet share just as well as they are destroying the mobile market. 

I find it ironic that your first argument is the assumption I live at home with my mother. Projecting much? 

Out here in the real world there is only 1 player in the tablet world and it ain’t Android based yet kiddo.

You Android boys need to realise it doesn’t matter how many copies of an OS are given away, it’s how much cash you can make selling the shiny boxes built around them.

Biggest selling phone ? Biggest selling tablet ?

Reason ? Because people want something that works perfrectly out of the box and they don’t need to spend weeks messing about, hacking, pimping, etc. Make it easy, everyone buys, make it hard only the core buy.

Harden the F# up everyone and fight it out like men. 

Let the best tablet/phone win.
