I mean, I’ll still be watching to see if HP can turn webOS into a legit dark-horse contender for marketshare, but the way I always saw webOS’s path to success was more akin to Android. With more strong partnerships for content. HP could have certainly made those happen just as well.

But it looks like we’ll be treated instead to another Apple-like OS that tries to do everything and punishes you for wanting options as a user.
