Worth Reading?

NoYes

SamsungSamsung just announced the release of a 22-inch widescreen monitor built with video conferencing in mind. But the SyncMaster 225UW monitor should please just about anyone.

It has a max resolution of 1680 x 1050 with a 16:10 aspect ratio to provide the perfect sized workspace. The 700:1 contrast ratio and 300cd/m2 brightness will provide a crisp, bright picture. You’ll get a two port USB hub and the choice of either DVI-D or analog inputs.

What really sets this monitor apart from the rest is the built-in 2.0MP webcam, speakers and dual-microphone. The dual microphones work together to remove the presence of background noise. The monitor also works well with Microsoft Office Communicator for the best possible videoconferencing.

No word yet on pricing or availability.
