Samsung INNOV8 i8510M approved by FCC: US-spec HSPA

Samsung's 8-megapixel INNOV8 i8510 handset, announced back in July with European 3G bands , has just been approved by the FCC with AT&T-friendly 850/1900MHz network support.  Cleared under the model number i8510M, the S60 device could be available as soon as the first-half of 2009, bringing with it WiFi b/g, A-GPS, Bluetooth 2.0 and all manner of impressive camera optics.

The i8510 offered a dual-LED flash, autofocus and image stabilization, together with blink, smile, and face detection.  It'll also walk you through shooting panoramic photos, as well as automatically geo-tag images with their location.  The INNOV8 is also capable of recording QVGA video at up to 120 frames per second and VGA-resolution video at up to 30 frames per second, with a full suite of video editing tools on the handset itself.

The display is a 2.8-inch panel running at QVGA resolution and capable of 16m colors, while internal storage is 8GB or 16GB expandable by microSD card.  It also has a TV-out connection.
