Samsung I7500 Android phone in-depth video demo

A second video demo of the Samsung I7500 Android smartphone has emerged, this time the handiwork of Tech65.  As we saw in the first video, it's the AMOLED touchscreen that really makes the I7500 stand out: at 3.2-inches and 320 x 480 resolution it's the same size and pixel count as on the HTC Magic and T-Mobile G1, but we're hoping for better overall runtime along with the brighter colors.Video demo of the Samsung I7500 after the cut

There's also quadband GSM, triband 7.2Mbps HSDPA (900/1700/2100), WiFi b/g and GPS, as well as Bluetooth and a 5-megapixel camera.  Internal memory tops out at 8GB, with a microSD card slot for adding up to an extra 32GB.  We're also pleased to see a standard 3.5mm headphone socket, something HTC could well look at copying with their own Android phones.

We're still unclear about release dates for the Samsung I7500, but the device in this video is looking pretty complete.  The Android platform desperately needs more choice in handsets, so we're eagerly waiting the I7500's launch.
