Tipped over the weekend, O2 Germany have officially announced their first Android handset, the Samsung I7500. The I7500 has a 5-megapixel camera with an LED flash, paired with a 3.2-inch 320 x 480 AMOLED touchscreen, HSPA, GPS and WiFi b/g.
There’s also Bluetooth 2.0, a 3.5mm headphone socket and a microUSB port, squeezed into a body that measures just 115 x 56 x 11.9 mm. The usual array of Google applications are present, including GMail and the Chrome Lite browser, together with the Android Market for downloading further titles.
Onboard storage is 8GB, expandable via a microSD slot content with up to 32GB cards. No word on official pricing from O2 Germany as yet, but the Samsung I7500 will land exclusively to the carrier in June 2009; it’ll be available with any standard O2 tariff.

2.0 applications like Facebook, Flickr and Instant Messaging. Customers are always
up to date anywhere they go due to the automatic synchronization of emails, contacts

As the first Android mobile phone, the Samsung I7500 offers a 5 megapixel camera
