Samsung’s rather amusing translation blunder - which saw the Romanian localized version of the Galaxy Tab get a “Porn” button – has been quickly addressed, with the company changing the text to “Acasa” (or Romanian for “Home”).  According to the Samsung Romania Twitter account, the change has been to “avoid any misunderstandings.”

They also tweeted an image of the new Menu screen, complete with the updated Home button.  The original translation had been correct – “Pornire” is “starting” in Romanian – but Samsung’s decision to truncate the word for the Galaxy Tab’s display meant it had altogether different connotations.
