Samsung Galaxy Tab hits UK from £100

Samsung's Galaxy Tab has gone on sale in the UK, with retailer Carphone Warehouse opening several stores early to meet the expected demand for the 7-inch slate.  As well as the full £529.99 contract-free price and month-to-month £10 data contract, there are also some new, significant subsidies on offer if you don't mind signing up to a two-year agreement.

Carrier Three is offering the Galaxy Tab for £99.99 if you sign up to a £40 per month contract lasting two years, and giving you 5GB of data per month.  That works out to £1,060 over the course of the agreement.

Meanwhile there are various official Samsung accessories on offer, including the £79.99 keyboard dock, £29.99 carry case, and £9.99 screen protector twin-pack.  For all the details on the new Froyo tablet, make sure to check out our comprehensive Galaxy Tab review.
