Samsung Galaxy Tab details surface in new firmware

We learned a bit about the Samsung Galaxy Tab back in July when some details of the device surfaced. A new European firmware for the Galaxy Tab has surfaced known as the P1000XXJH3 release and with it comes new details about the Galaxy Tab.

We already know the device is powered by Android and now we have new factoids. The screen will have a resolution of 480 x 800. The camera will have a resolution of 2048 x 1536 and the front mount camera will be a 240 x 320 resolution unit. The CPU will be an ARM11 unit using a S5PC110 core running at 1GHz.

The device will have an integrated Flash player, integrated GPS with Google Maps, WiFi, SyncML support, Swype, and Bluetooth. The Galaxy Tab screen is expected to be a Super AMOLED unit.
