I downloaded ICS onto my Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 (GT-P6800) over the air earlier today (8/2/12) after getting the notification that an upgrade was available.

I wish it was true. I don’t expect Samsung to care anymore. I would be pleased if they would roll out any version 4 until end of year but why would they want to push that when it’s better for Samsung you buy a new gadget. I wish they could just offer: vanilla ICS/JellyBean now or get Samsunged UI’d version next year.

I just love going to stories that claim to have a list of updates then find that the date for the update is “very, very soon”. Thanks for nothing. This is less than helpful in any way.
