A 7.7″ 1280×800 OLED display in an (affordable) tablet. Compare this to the Sony XEL-1 which is an 11″ 960×540 OLED TV that costs $2500 and you start to see the value. I wish it had an HDMI input and a stand so I could use it as a portable monitor/TV. :P

They never said it would go beyond and hey presto it hasn’t.

It is highly unlikely that you will see another update to the GT-P1000. It was always a kind of stop gap to get Samsung into the tablet game ASAP. It did that and now they have their new range that they want you to buy.
