They changed the Gallery3D code in their phones. Just like they put in the bounce effect instead of highlight effect to the list scrolling.

Unfortunately for Apple, the word is out on Android phones now and they actually have some killer competition from Samsung themselves as well as HTC and LG on the horizon. Apple can FAR from sit pretty when iPhone 5 is released…

Relax…. Samsung got slapped for imitating iOS with TouchWiz. The reason for the injunction is only the bounceback patent, that is infringed only by TouchWiz addons to Android. In particular the gallery app changes that exist on Galaxy line of their smartphones. Nexus S is not on the incuntion list, though Apple did put it into the complaint….

So all they need to do is update the gallery app and that is it…

You can tell by how frightened they are by the way their hand shakes while raking in the cash..

If apples profits can destroy the competition with the iphone 4 last quarter.. should be interesting to see what happens this quarter with iPhone 5 and iPad Xmas shoppers.
