Samsung Galaxy S5 and wearables US availability detailed

We've gone hands on with Samsung's new product range at MWC 2014, giving the Galaxy S5, Gear 2, Gear Fit and such a once over. Samsung has dropped some details about the product range's upcoming availability, and though there's no precise launch date, the Samsung S5 and its brethren will be arriving in the US in April.

The April time frame for the launches isn't surprising, given some details and hints we've seen crop up in the recent past. When exactly it hits shelves is yet to be seen, but with it will also roll out the roster of new wearables: the Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo, and the Gear Fit.

The much-anticipated Samsung Galaxy S5 will be arriving at a variety of carriers in the United States — AT&T, which just recently expanded its international LTE roaming, T-Mobile, Verizon, MetroPCS, and U.S. Cellular. The wearables will be available through expected channels, as well.

Buyers will be able to get the Galaxy S5 from Samsung Experience Shops in Best Buy, Amazon, Costco, RadioShack, Sam's Club, Target, and Walmart. The wearables trio will "be available through carrier and retail channels," among them being the aforementioned Samsung Experience Shops in Best Buy.
