I completely get the role of “frenemies” in the business world but the childish side of me (the side of me sick of hearing about Apple this and Apple that) kind of wants Samsung to pack up its displays (the ones it makes for Apple) and go home. Samsung is the display Jedi. Apple doesn’t share iOS with anyone else why should Samsung, like you say, share its innovations? I DO know the real answer ($$$$) but we are all just spewing here right :)

I would swear I wrote this article only I know I don’t work for Slashgear. Normally, I hate all the fanboy BS but I am actually looking forward to the HTC One X vs SGS III vs iPhone 5 bloodsport that will ensue over the course of the year. ICS, NFC, LTE. What a year it is going to be for mobile.

apple is drowning…. File sharing with the other brand of phones, computers is the worst problem of apple…. its my experience… for just a simple jpeg capture from the other brand, you still have to used 3rd party software just to copy it to apple unit… other brand is just a plug-n-play… i got ipad-2, iphone-4s, it’ll be my 1st and last purchased for apple products.. unless iphone-5 offers plug-n-play, direct transfer OTA file sharing and etc…

Well, I am new to reading Slashgear regularly, so maybe my expectations aren’t appropriate. However, I didn’t realize that everyone that reads SG has already planned on buying one device and having a comparison isn’t worth doing. I know that I was looking forward to it, maybe not to decide on my device (I am probably going to get the new Evo), but as a thought exercise into how the two top-dogs in the industry are stacking up going forward.
