This phone is seriously gonna kick some iPhone arse, just like the gs2 did to the iPhone 4s.. I’d love to get this phone but after my galaxy note, I couldn’t go back to a smaller screen. I’ll just wait till the new note arrives. Maybe I should have two phones. Hmmmmmmmm

hmm the HTC one X come to att on may 6th and the S3 will be announced on the 3rd. guess i will decide on the 3rd.

If both US versions end up having the snapdragon S4 (which is almost as good as the T3) then it might come down to battery and camera. hmmmm decisions! i cant wait for may 3rd

All that waiting and expectation was a) overshadowed by the availability of the Galaxy S2 and b) the near-certainty the Nexus would under-spec the S2; Thus, people were only waiting for new Google phone features which weren’t delivered to the extent of expectation…

There was definitely some excitement there, but it never really hit fever pitch like iPhone or Samsung rumors have.

looks awesome! However:

What about the galaxy nexus? We waited for that phone for about 6 months of release date rumors and hardware myths

The reason that not all US versions of the Galaxy S II used Samsung’s Exynos was LTE support. Exynos 4210 doesn’t have it, Qualcomm and TI options do. Since LTE has been a big selling point in the US, compromise had to be made. The quad-core successor, Exynos 4412, is supposed to have LTE support, so justifying an alternative SoC for US-bound GSIII’s will be a lot harder.
