Bingo. There’s no sense in buying something purely based on the brand. However, the brand can be an important factor as it can instill a number of tangible qualities (such as customer service etc).

It’ll probably be the best selling Android phone. In that regard, if you want to avoid being a metaphorical sheep, you probably need to buy some obscure Android device from a manufacturer no one has ever heard on. Then you’d be truly free thinking and unique! However, I suspect that most people probably don’t care in the slightest whether 1 or 10million other people own the same phone.

There’s a minor flaw in this theory, this will probably be the highest selling phone on the market, thus the conformists would be flocking to the product that’s trying to promote itself as the underdog…

I am a fan of utility not brands. I could care less who manufactures the tech. Besides, Samsung makes part of the iPhone too. Ive had three gens of iPhones and each had their strong and weak points. I switched to a GS2 and now the Note. The Note is probably the best Ive used to date. At the end of the day I just want useful features and always having a digital pen and paper around for “notes” is perfect for me. Both the SG3 AND iPhone 5 will have to blow my mind for me to give up my Note. That said, the Note 2 has my money earmarked for sure!

I am curious why Chris is defensive and offended when the video does not mention iphone or apple anywhere. This is an ad that should come to television because it addresses all Samsung competitors and not just apple.

And I finally understood :D
Samsung hasn’t asked for their permission to use their photo at the teaser.
BAD Samsung! why you didn’t ask them? Maybe they wanted you to send a better picture! Maybe a picture with their pastor. lol

The “freely and swiftly” part presumably refers to the new processor, believed to be a 1.4GHz quadcore, while the “view of the world” aspect is likely a reference to Samsung’s Super AMOLED Plus display technology.
CHRIS HAS A GREAT IMAGINATION TO MOVE ON WITH THE ARTICLE.. :)
