The one x is most certainly NOT slimmer, and it’s only 0.1 ounce lighter.

The S3 looks more premium and luxurious because the one x looks like a cheap Chinese knock off of the Lumia.

You must be the only person to love Sense. It is the most POS buggy, fugly, laggy and old fashioned looking UI on the planet.

Even htc knows they made ugly hardware and software. That’s why they tried to reinvent themselves with the one series. Too bad it’s nothing more than a new name covering up for their unchanged fugly designs.

htc was not the first to update to 4.0. That honor goes to Samsung for their international Galaxy S2.

How does the S3 have poor build again? Both Samsung and htc are using the EXACT SAME material on the phone. My Galaxy S2 has been extremely durable with no scratches, whereas my Sensation looked like a POS after I was done with it.

There has never been an issue with Samsung’s physical button. You must be confusing it with the iPhone’s common problem with the home button.

Pentile display doesn’t matter when the extremely high ppi makes it moot.

The fact that you think the S3 was a phone about specs reveals how little you know about the product launch. The whole launch was centered around what the phone could do for the user, so that is EXACTLY what you want.

htc is a pretender. Why would you feel proud of owning a poser phone?

you’re blind, right? One X has better camera features with up to 99 continuous shots in burst mode and better quality shots, better sound quality c/o Beats Audio, slimmer, lighter, more premium-look and sexier design than SGS3, better HIGH-QUALITY games c/o Tegra-3 support, most gorgeous UI in the planet compared to that fugly and boring TouchWiz, HTC has better and faster rollout of updates (already fot two updates in one month, and the first to update to 4.0), better display, and far better user-experiece and re-sale value. Props to SGS3 for being a benchmark monster (which rarely translate to better real-life day-to-day experience), up to 64 GB storage, expandable storage via microSD, and 2100mAh removable battery. But it ends there. Poor design, poor built, cheap look & feel, wear-and-tear-prone physical button, ugly UI, pentile display, so-so music quality, so-so camera quality, and the list goes on. Never been too proud with One X than this day. Thanks Sammy for a nice try, but not all of us are geeks and specs-hungry, we consumers love total package of aesthetics, power, uniqueness, and great user-experience.

I really want to migrate from my 3GS to Android and I think the Galaxy III is a good choice. However, the only thing keeping me from changing my smartphone is all the hassle of transferring iPhone contacts to Android. I just do not have a clue of how to do do that.

The S3 might be a disappointment RELATIVE to the hype surrounding it, but as itself it’s still better the the one x.

I prefer the s2 so much than this one, just bought the one x and i’m more than glad, cause this wasn’t what i was expecting at all, waited for a more good looking and not so copy to the s2 but just bigger and rounded.

your doing a hands on with the Galaxy S3 while all other tech websites are still sitting in the hall and waiting for it to be unveiled.
Anyway, this is a shit looking plastic phone..
