Still on a SG1 (running ICS) still looks better, has a larger screen, better battery, and runs just as smooth as my moms 4s. Also it works how I want it to, not how samsung/apple/verizon want it to.

With GS-III, Samsung needs to focus on improving the total user experience, rather than simply increasing the specs. Their Galaxy Note already has 285 dpi, which provides more than enough display quality. What they need to do is to increase the battery life through hardware efficiency improvement, as well as software enhancement. They also need to bring out better outer shell design (look and quality), hopefully delivering on the high quality ceramic case design, to quiet down those critics who pick on Samsung’s use of plastic case (I’m personally fine with the plastic design since I always use a case anyway). If they can deliver 5+” screen with a narrower width than G-Note, combined with the above enhancements, they will continue to dominate the Android smart phone market easily and increase their market share against Apple as well.

iPhone 4 didn’t drop in value until the 4s came out and they can’t be “variants” if they all have different specs, that just different phones with the same name.
If galaxy s3 comes out soon, s2 owners better sell their phones quick, galaxy s1 owners can hardly even sell their phones.

My god you are completely brainwashed by Apple propaganda. All those GSII variants are the same phone with minor carrier requested differences. They do nothing to devalue each other much less the Note which is in a segment all it’s own. I had to go on ebay after after reading your post to check and see what these phones are going for. See if you can get these facts thru your reality distortion field:
Over 1 year old black 16 GB GSII’s in all their variants,
going for: $375-$475, some on auction in the low $500′s
Over 1 year old iphone 4, also black,
going for: $309.99-339.99, some on auction in the low $390′s
Something eles i noticed is the shitload of phones available, not just the iphone4 and GSII types but what really caught my eye was all the 4s phones for sale. I can understand people getting rid of the GSII what with the popular Note coming out but why are so many people trying to ditch Apples latest and greatest? Some of them must have asked siri if it is just a gimic, to which it promtly replied : ” hell yeah, sucker! “

mine is a bit glitchy and the camera is much slower than the iPhone 4s. For Samsung to be a playah, they need to one up Apple every year regardless of whether the consumer NEEDs it or not. Plus, Sammy needs to get away from plastics on their phones

I bought my S2 way before it was release in my country and I’ve been using it for a year if not more. It’s still the fastest and most sexy phone among everyone I know especially now that I’m running it with SPB Shell 3D. My friends with Iphone4s is just so jealous. Might be slower then the Note but still sexier. Gonna grab it right away when S3 is available.

i doubt it but what im hoping for is non pentile samoled plus.
they had 4.65 inch 1280×720 hd samoled pentile and 5.3 inch 1280×800 samoled pentile.
now if they can pull off 4.8. non-pentile HD Super AMOLED PLUS then id love that

ninja please make it thicker with twice the battery or at least 1.5x the battery meant to go in that 7mm…….. make it like 9mm bump that 2000mAh to 3000mAh.

can you show me an example of this so called twice that speed device?

Only addon that came out after was the LTE based device and that came with Snapdragon which was inferior to the original version with exynos

Note isn’t even in the same segment

Infuse is not part of the Galaxy S2 family

You pay 650 dollars for it and in months it’s worth half that money because something twice that speed has come out and not everyone goes and buys the thing the minute it comes out. Then you have a galaxy s2 infuse with a larger screen, followed by galaxy s2x Hercules with a 1.5 ghz processor after that the galaxy s2 lte aka skyrocket than you have the galaxy note followed by the Samsung galaxy nexus. Now On the eve of the galaxy s3. That’s 6 phones before the galaxy s3 even comes out and with products that cost 6 to 7 hundred dollars, deprectiation is an issue and Samsung destroys the value of your item by flooding the market so you get less for it than the competition apple product.
