As a very happy S2 user I fitted a 2000mAh battery and regularly get 48-60 hours on a charge. The sound and image quality is superb.

Perhaps they could give this one a bit more premium feel with some better materials. I would love to see a more screen resolution and a hardware dual-pressure camera key, but more of the same sounds fine to me.

The iphone and galaxy are on a staggered release schedule. Don't fool yourself into thinking samsung and apple don't know what they are doing. You bought the note? Samsung doesn't mind...

Fitting more CPU into the same space with the same battery life is a marvel.

Oh NOES! A popular best selling design is getting an internal refresh... Shouldn't they completely redesign their best selling device from the ground up instead? How does that saying go? If it ain't broke, dork with it until it is?

The 4s haters will obviously receive a large dose of comeuppance here but people with even a partially functioning brain will see this as a smart decision.

There is a reason why Corvettes and porsches keep the same basic style for so many years.

Glad I went and bought my Note.

Sounds really stupid to me, Apple will bring out the 5 and and Samsung will be offering some basic improvement over the ii. Real smart!

4S has a new dual core SOC, with new dual core GPUs, new much improved camera, Bluetooth 4.0, 64GB size option.

And it's an incremental upgrade? iPhone 4 has the same SOC as iPhone 3GS, just 200MHz more.

If Galaxy S III is as much of an upgrade as the 4S, it's going to be a pretty significant one.

Also, there really aren't going to be many revolutionary inventions(Galaxy Nexus introduced a Barometer and that's it), just incremental linear upgrades and improvements.
