Yes! The ATT version is the only US variants that stick to the original design (minus the physical home button)

If the GPS chipsets are the same as the international version (I’m almost certain it is), then it kicks Ass. I have the international SG2 and GPS takes about 5-10 seconds (usually on the lower side) to lock and stays lock even inside the house.

What’s with the blurry, washed out videos? I personally owned the Infuse with the exact same screen in 4.5″ and I known it doesn’t have white-balance problems like your video makes it appear. As you said in your review, the Super AMOLED Plus screens are better than anything else on the market.

You need a better camera or something. Maybe you should record the video of the Galaxy S II using another S II’s camera. Or, I don’t know, just a camera that represents reality somewhat.

Well regarding most smartphones the Galaxy S II is one of the thinnest phones around. The AT&T version is only 4.3″ instead of 4.52″ screen like the others so it will be the most “pocketable”

It should fit

Do you feel the phone is “pocketable” as a female that wears snug jeans this is really the only thing that is holding me back. i need something small enough to stuff in my pocket and be on the go. (i’m coming from a pre2 so i know it’ll be a difficult change regardless)

Yes, both the AT&T and T-Mobile versions of the SGSII have NFC. The reviewer should amend his review to include this data. Maybe he didn’t think it was worth mentioning since NFC isn’t that big of a deal here like it is in Asia but it will be a bigger movement within the next year or so. The only U.S. version that does NOT have NFC is the Sprint model — yes, the Sprint model has an LED indicator which would have been a great addition on this model but I am ready to install the app ‘noLED’ when I get my AT&T SGSII!

Near field Communication on the battery.So it does have NFC right?? Not that its gonna be required atleast for the next 8-10 months until NFC technology really kicks in. But better to have than not
