Since the creator of CyanogenMod works for Samsung and Samsung handed out free Galaxy S II phones to modders, I would say there is a good chance it will be.

well, being a epic 4g owner, i don’t know if it would be a good idea to get this phone, i mean, if they (who ever that may be) can’t update my phone to gingerbread, then what makes you think they will keep this phone updated with the latest software updates. i mean, i’m sure phone is great as i like samsung, but come on with the updates already..

All I really care about is whether or not the phone will be supported by cyanogenmod. If this turns into another Galaxy S debacle, then I’m staying far away. Don’t be fooled by the shiny new phone with the amazing specs without first researching the phone.

I am so pre-ordering this phone. 16GB onboard and microSD! 4.5″ Super AMOLED+ screen! And only $199 with contract. It’s everything I ever wanted into a phone. I am so pumped about this phone!
