@sand 1435, get over it!
boy, it sounds like the company made a mistake.
apple LIE all the time - ALL the time
it does not make it ok, but it amazes me that you'd harbor a prejudice or resentment for one bit of misinformation. (id hate to be your friend if you are like that with people too!)
the behold was too slow for 2.1 perhaps?

This new phone is not even related to your near 2 yr old phone. Most people usually upgrade around then anyway. Quit complaining and come out of your dark ages vengeance! ......you're wasting your life beholding a grudge for naught! ;)

Sure, you’re excited about the Samsung Galaxy S.

Now.

Stop.

And imagine 6 months after you bought the Galaxy. You’re angry. You been lied to. The promised updates never come. There are real problems just using the phone. Forums like this fill with users like you, angry, dumping the phone, and comparing how little the can get for it on craigslist. $150? If you’re lucky.

You’ll never buy a Samsung product again. Samsung has hired a PR firm to try to hide the real problems you and thousands of others are having with the phone.

This is real.

Do some research on the Samsung Behold II. This is Samsung’s business model.
1)	Shiny new phone with promised updates
2)	Wait… there’s no money in supporting a phone, only in selling new ones.
3)	Refuse promised updates on under plainly false pretenses.
4)	Go to step 1.
5)	Profit.

Please, do not buy this or any other Samsung phone. HTC and Apple make nice phones that they support. Tell your friends.

I’m just a regular guy who fell for their lies. Don’t be me, 6 months from now, in a forum, writing this same message.

Same Samsung Hunmmingbird Intrinsity Designed proc as Apple A4 w/ only some instruction set differences in code to metal (both produced on same Fab process and plant lines). Same 90million Triangles/sec GPU (3x iPhone 3GS and Snapdragon chips). Super AMOLED Screen used in F-15 fighter display and F-1 racing car's dash and wheel display, along with Ad panels embedded in it's carbon fiber body.

Superior visibility in sunlight making it the absolute ruler over any other screen tech out today! ....even Retina IPS's old tech process w/ a simple shrunken process die to produce higher pixel density. Actually the main reason Apple chose it was Samsung's new fab plant not open till 2012. So they are keeping all screens for industrial use and their own phones and tablet pc's. Also Apple smartly chose to compensate for increased energy use of IPS backlight by making both iPad and iPhone4 screen density similar size to save energy not having to line double up to iPad or vectorize process down to iPhone4. To average human eye, you will see no difference beyond what it can resolve at 10 to 12 inches. The other thing is that with vectoring of 2d graphics w/ OpenVG it's what's called "Resolution Free". Meaning you see no pixels to count as you zoom in & out!

With vectorable fonts (300dpi SVG) everything is very readable and zoomable on both screens. Galaxy is going on all 4 major carriers though and you will have phone to phone and phone to desktop video conferencing on Samsung Galaxy S phone compared to WiFi only on iPhone4. This is because of the same reason iPhone does NOT support Full background multitasking over 3G, unless you Jail Break them.

On AT&T, Galaxy S will be able to use their "Video Share" service Vid Chat ($5 month), unlike the iPhone that's locked out of the service because of it's signal being encrypted in a secure hyper tunnel (garden wall) that bypasses AT&T's own off ramp. Then runs directly to Apple's own Server farms. No.... 3G networks support features like multitasking, FLASH and other interactive web based services or players like for video conferencing. Facetime itself should support it, just not over garden walled 3G (jail broken yes). The diference then, between Samsung (who were the original contractors of Intrinsity's designs for Hummingbird used in iPhone4 as well in a shared cost deal) is not in the processor. But in Features you can actually utilize in on Android phone as compared to a garden walled device like iPhone4. Along with Galaxy's incredible Super AMOLED Screen. That flat out puts iPhone4's Retina to shame in bright sunlight and with it's super high contrast ratio that dwarfs Retina in life like color saturation! ;-)
