Yes, you are absolutely right, I had decided to buy the Galaxy Note, when I came to know that a new version of Galaxy Note S is likely to appear in the market then I have dropped the idea of buying the current version of the phone now. I rather wait for some time to buy the improved one of the new version. Galaxy Note is good in look and features, but the price is extremely higher than what it has worth. One can buy a very good Laptop at the same price. If Samsung really wants to capture the market by give though competition to other companies who produce mobile phones, they should lower the price of all the gadgets. The more you sell the more you have profit.

This is ridiculous.. I just bought the galaxy note and now hearing that the galaxy note s is being release. If they had plans to release the note s then why did they release a down graded version before? It should not just be about making money. Customer satisfaction should be very important. Now for sure all customers who heard that the new galaxy note s is going to come up they are not going to be satisfied with their current purchase.

ouch! Good luck! I know what you mean though... I've been bloody annoyed even here in the US, at how long the Note has already been out and we STILL don't have it yet.

This is just getting ridiculous. It's getting to the point now that we're hearing about models being superseeded less than a month after a model drops, or in some cases before the current model even hits shelves!

What's even more annoying is that here in Australia, new models are being announced so fast it seems that the phone companies don't even have time to ship them down under. Or when we do finally get them, we end up with the old model.

I wanted to get the original Samsung Galaxy Note and got all excited but we never saw it in Australia. Then I got excited when I saw the 4G Note released in the US and thought we might get that but nope. Now I'm hearing about a Note S which we'll probably miss out on too.

I gave up on the Note, now I've been considering getting a Nokia. There has been no word of the Lumia phones coming to australia until this week. For 6 months I watched while other countries got the Lumia 800, and then the 900. It's now been announced that we will get the Lumia 800. Only taken like 7 months but hey! Hopefully we will get the 900 but probably by the time that happens Nokia will have announced a Lumia 1000!
