Samsung Galaxy Note Pro and Tab Pro tablets land Feb 13

Back in December 2013, we learned that Samsung was working on a couple new tablets that were aimed at pro users. The new tablets were the Galaxy Note Pro and the Tab Pro series. A few days after we heard the tablets were coming this year, we heard that there would be two size options offered. Samsung has now announced the official launch date for both of the new tablet series.

The Galaxy Tab Pro and Galaxy Note Pro tablets will launch on February 13. The Galaxy Note Pro will be offered with a 12.2-inch screen. The Tab Pro tablets will be available in 10.1-inch or 8.4-inch size. Pre-orders for both table series start today. Samsung will be offering a Tab Pro tablet with a 12.2-inch screen in March.

The Note Pro and Tab Pro tablets with the 12.2-inch screen will have 2560 x 1600 Super Clear LCDs. They also feature 3GB of RAM. The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 will have the most pixel dense LCD on the market and will feature a Snapdragon 800 2.3GHz quad core processor.

The Note Pro tablet has the Samsung S Pen that can convert handwriting to text among other things. The Note Pro 12.2 will sell for $749.99 for a 32GB version or $849.99 for a 64GB version. The Tab Pro 12.2 will sell for $649.99 with 32GB of storage. The Tab Pro 10.1 will sell for $499.99 with 16GB of storage. The Tab Pro 8.4 will sell for $399.99 with 16GB of storage.
