Samsung Galaxy Note press image leaks, hints at February 14 launch on AT&T

Samsung's Galaxy Note has surfaced in a leaked press image today, obtained by PocketNow. The image confirms a lot of what we've been suspecting, showing the device to be launching on AT&T, which the FCC filing had revealed a while back. But what it also tells us is that the launch date is likely to be on February 14.

We first saw the Galaxy Note back at IFA 2011, where we got to spend some hands-on time with the massive 5.3-inch device that blurs the line between a smartphone and a tablet. The bright and crisp HD Super AMOLED screen goes beyond 720p resolution, touting 1280 x 800 with 285ppi pixel density. For more detail on the device, make sure to check out our hands-on video.

The Galaxy Note may make an appearance at CES 2012, with the event marking its big US debut on AT&T. Galaxy Note accessories maker, Anymode, accidentally sent a press invite yesterday that confirmed the device would show at the event. However, the company has backtracked possibly due to pressure from AT&T, which may be waiting to do its own big unveil of the device at CES.
